I love to be in my torn jeans: Koena
She is one the hottest beauties in B’ town and her sizzling moves and grooves make a million hearts flutter. We are talking about the bold
and beautiful Koena Mitra, who was in the city recently to be a part of the Chennai InternationalFashion Week.
“It was great to be back in Chennai. To be a part of such a prestigious event was an honour in itself and I must say that it was a great pleasure to walk the ramp, that too for the inaugural show,” says Koena, flashing her killer smile.
So, what does fashion mean to the actress? “It is a very individualistic thing and differs from person to person. My style mantra is to keep it simple and comfortable. I may wear sizzling costumes on screen or on the ramp, but back home, I love to be in my torn jeans and sneakers. I believe in dressing up for the occasion.”
Koena is quite delighted by the changing fashion scenario in the country. “It’s good to see people experimenting with their looks. Fashion is evolving and how!”
The actress disappeared from Tamil after a couple of item numbers in Dhool and Ayan. So, when is she doing her next project in Tamil? “I have not signed any Tamil projects as of now. I will definitely keep every one posted when I do one,” she says.
Finally, prod Koena about her upcoming films in Hindi and she says, “There are four projects on the anvil. I am doing a comedy flick, a horror film, an action entertainer and a non-commercial film. The last one is based on the lives of dance girls in the bars. I play the protagonist and my role is something to watch out for,” she signs off with poise.
