SINGAPORE : Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong met his French counterpart, Francois Fillon, in Paris on Wednesday.

Mr Fillon discussed the climate change issue and the upcoming Copenhagen Summit.

The leaders also discussed the economic and financial crisis and the way forward towards recovery.

They affirmed that bilateral relations were good and agreed to pursue more ways to further improve ties.

Mr Lee had stopped over in Paris on his way back from his visit to Cuba after he attended the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting in Trinidad and Tobago. - CNA/ms
