The President had reportedly reprimanded all astrologers and black magicians who have worked for the government over the telephone soon after being informed that General Sarath Fonseka had handed in his resignation letter.

The reason for the angry outburst is the prediction by astrologers that General Fonseka would not hand in resignation letter till the 17th and have said the General had been charmed to ensure that the letter would not be handed in before the 17th.

Temple Trees sources said an Indian astrologer had advised the President to ensure the General handed in his letter after the 17th as he too would then be


subjected to the ill effects of the planetary change that is scheduled to take place on the 17th. The astrologer had also warned that the planetary change would have a negative impact on the government.
