UNP sources said UNP parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake had today (30) accepted the letter of appointment from Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe appointing his as organizer of the Colombo North electorate and parliamentarian Wijedasa Rajapakse is to be appointed as the party’s organizer for the Maharagama electorate.

The source further said that the Kotte, Kaduwela and Kesbewa electorates are to be filled by government ministers who are to join the UNP shortly and main coordinator of Corruption Watch, Attorney Shiral Lakthileka is to be appointed as the organizer the Kolonnawa electorate.
