Search continues for alleged cop killer in Washington

A day and a half after a man shot and killed 4 Washington Police Officers, the search for the suspect in the case continues.
The man police are calling a 'person of interest' in the killings of four police officers in Parkland, Washington Sunday morning, still hasn't been located by police, despite non-stop searches and having police positioned at all spots Maurice Clemmons could use as a getaway, like freeways, bus terminals, train stations and ferry docks, according to the San Francisco Examiner.
Clemmons has only been out of jail a week, after he posted $15,000 bond on a child rape charge. And could very well have avoided all of this, as he was once locked up and sentenced to 60 years in prison in Arkansas before being given clemency by then governor Mike Huckabee.
Then, Clemmons allegedly shot and killed 4 police officers, Clemmons himself was also shot before fleeing, and Police Spokesman Ed Troyer said on 'The Early Show' this morning that his wounds were possibly severe. which makes police speculate that it is possible that he has died. After an all day search for him Sunday, Police believed they had him cornered in a house, and after a several hour standoff involving SWAT teams, and negotiators, the SWAT went in to only discover an empty house, and no sign of Clemmons. Then, all day today, Police have been searching for him, and have had several false alarms when they pulled over vehicles they thought Clemmons was in, according to Casey McNerthney of SeattlePI.com. Police continue to be on high alert, and are taking all steps to try to capture the suspect.
