Dec 11, Colombo: Sri Lanka State Trading (General) Cooperation (STC) has introduced a special "Budget pack" of food for the benefit of the consumers during the festive season.

The special Budget Pack contains five essential food items, Rice, Dhal, Sugar, Canned fish, and gram.

Trade, Marketing, Cooperatives Development, and Consumer Affairs Minister Bandula Gunawardena sold the first Budget Pack to the President Mahinda Rajapaksa today at the Temple Trees.

Governor of Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal, Chairman of STC Pradeep Gunawardena, Governor of Central Province Alevi Moulana, and Secretary of Finance Ministry Dr. P.B. Jayasundara were also present at the occasion.
