UAE to increase flights to Sri Lanka
Colombo: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sri Lanka to increase flights between the two countries.
Under the MoU signed in Colombo, UAE-designated airlines Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, and Air Arabia will increase the number of weekly flights to the country.
In addition the UAE's low-cost airline FlyDubai will also add flights to Colombo.
According to the UAE Civil Aviation authorities Sri Lanka is considering a proposal from UAE that would provide significant opportunities for tourism and trade to the country.
