Chairman of Tharunyata Hetak Organization, Namal Rajaoaksa has been assigned to oversee the recruitment, promotions and transfers made in ministries, departments, corporations and other state institutions under the President’s purview.

Sources from Temple Trees said several government ministers were displeased with the decision to give such responsibilities to the Tharunyata Hetak Organization, which has no legal mandate to interfere in state affairs and Namal Rajapaksa.
